Hello, my name is Amanda Zeamer. I am an athlete, a sister, a friend, a coach, and a fitness advocate. I graduated from UW-Superior in with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health and Wellness Management. I am a certified personal trainer through AFAA. I am also a certified spin instructor and teach numerous group exercise classes. My fitness story is actually kind of boring or you could say average.

I was an avid athlete during middle school years and got too scared to play in high school, as I was more concerned about my grades and job. I really got into fitness again when I turned 18. My aunt asked if I would join a gym with her. There was no hesitation. I began running and lifting, incorporating new cardio moves and exercises each time. By the time I hit 20 is when I really found my passion for running. I have competed in many races from 5ks to 10ks, half marathons, and a marathon. I have also become a huge fan of CrossFit. I have been a member now for over a year now. Each day I learn something new about myself and push myself harder than I ever had before. I competed in my first competition and ranked fourth, but I strive to place number one.

Why do I love fitness and being a personal trainer? I love it because it makes me feel good. It’s not a job, it’s a lifestyle. It’s not boring or forced it’s fun and exciting. I got to make changes in my life to better myself. I get to see my clients and co athletes change their lives. They're increasing their health, transforming in to a healthier lifestyle, and growing into the athlete they’ve always wanted to be. It doesn’t matter who you are, your age, or body type, whatever it is you can be whoever you want to be.
